LE SOLEIL D’OR, CAYMAN BRAC

LE SOLEIL D’OR, CAYMAN BRAC

LE SOLEIL D’OR

Le Soleil d’Or lies nestled in a quiet corner of the rustically elegant island of Cayman Brac. Healthy living, relaxation and adventure are central to the philosophy of this hotel. Boasting its own 20-acre organic garden farm, outstanding personal chef, private tennis courts, fitness centre and cooking school, extensive list of activities to do everywhere – the bespoke and secluded nature of this hotel will really allow us to make this Caribbean paradise our own.

LOCATION

Located on the south side of the island, Le Soleil d’Or is under a half hour drive from Cayman Brac’s airport Charles Kirkconnell. Flying into Grand Cayman, there are four transfers a day to Cayman Brac with Cayman Express, or a daily service with Cayman Airways. Cayman Brac is a small yet exquisite island with a lot to offer. It’s takes an hour to drive end to end. From the moment we are picked up from the airport, we will have the ability to enjoy the island in a number of ways. Explore the island by bike (definitely one of the best ways to get around), see the beautiful, extreme caves, dive in crystal clear waters, and of course relax on our own private beach at the Le Soleil D’Or, Cayman Brac hotel.

OUR ROOM

Choose from four spacious, tranquil and secluded suites at Le Soleil D’Or, Cayman Brac, or rent all four together! If we are a larger party… (combined, they sleep up to eight). Luxury cotton sheets, handcrafted scrubs and welcome baskets are provided. Each suite is just steps from the gorgeous private 1,200 foot stretch of private beach. Equipped with its own pool, hammocks, gazebo and sun loungers. Absolute bliss.

WHY I LIKE IT

What I really enjoy is the focus on getting ‘back to nature’. We’ll be able to enjoy delicious homemade farm-to-table food while dining al fresco, looking out over our own private Caribbean view or two. This aligns with a general philosophy across the three Cayman Islands, which strives to educate visitors about conserving the local environment; Le Soleil d’Or really expands on this idea. Cooking classes use all local produce from the farm, and we can take part in the ‘farm to table’ tours. The garden boasts prize-winning fruit, flowers, vegetables, herbs, and produce. We can expect to appreciate some outstanding, original and local dishes. If that wasn’t enough healthy living, we can also enjoy a fully equipped gym, soothing spa treatments, detoxification programmes and water sports, and will be left with a feeling of wellness, luxury and ready for adventure.
